MONTAG // MONDAY

Catherine legt besonderen Wert auf sicheres Praktizieren, korrekte Ausrichtung sowie die Vermittlung eines ganzheitlichen Yogastils. Ihr Unterricht basiert auf langjähriger Erfahrung in Yoga, Shiatsu und integrativer Körperpsychotherapie und kann am ehesten als Verbindung zwischen Hatha und Flow beschrieben werden. Ihre Stunden sind geprägt von Herzlichkeit, Lebensfreude und geprägt von tiefem Verständnis und grosser Wertschätzung der Einzigartigkeit eines jeden Menschen. Catherine ist zertifizierte Yoga Alliance RYT 500-Lehrerin, praktiziert seit 2000 und unterrichtet seit 2011 Yoga.

Die Hatha Flow-Stunden führen dich sanft durch aufeinander abgestimmte Asana-Sequenzen. Du hast immer genügend Zeit, um eine korrekte Haltung einzunehmen und die Positionen wirken zu lassen, bleibst aber gleichzeitig im Fluss und mit deiner Atmung verbunden. Pranayama- und Meditationstechniken runden die Stunden ab.

In her classes, Catherine puts a lot of emphasis on safe practice, correct alignment and teaching a holistic style of yoga. Her teaching style is based on her long lasting experience in yoga, shiatsu and integrative body psychotherapy and can best be described as a connection between Hatha and Flow. Her classes are full of warmth, joie de vivre and marked by a deep understanding and appreciation for the uniqueness of each person. Catherine is a certified Yoga Alliance RYT 500 teacher, she has been practicing since 2000 and teaching since 2011.

In these Hatha Flow classes, you will be gently guided through coordinated Asana sequences. The slow pace of the flow allows for correct alignment but at the same time you remain in the flow and connected with your breathing. Pranayama and meditation techniques complete the lessons.

DIENSTAG // TUESDAY

Sarah legt grossen Wert darauf, achtsam zu üben und intuitiv auf den Körper zu hören. In ihren Klassen wird das Bewusstsein immer wieder auf den Atem geleitet, die kraftvolle Energie, die uns auch durch herausfordernde Situationen trägt. Yoga soll uns nicht nur kräftigen und erden, es soll uns auch dabei unterstützen, den stillen Weg zum Inneren und zu unserer Essenz zu finden.

Mein Ziel ist es, eine gesunde und individuelle Ausrichtung zu vermitteln und dir in jeder Klasse etwas an anatomischem, therapeutischem und spirituellem Wissen mitzugeben. Meine Klassen sind körperlich anspruchsvoll mit Fokus auf biomechanische Ausrichtungsprinzipien, kombiniert mit flowigen Vinyasa-Elementen zu moderner Musik. Deine Bewegung, dein Atem und dein Geist werden zu einer Einheit. So findest du deine Balance auf und neben der Matte.

While teaching yoga, my goal is to impart a healthy and individual alignment and to share my therapeutic knowledge of anatomy and spirituality with you. My classes are physically challenging with a focus on biomechanical alignment principals combined with flowy vinyasa elements on some good modern beats. Every class has a specific topic where all the asanas are individually adapted. Your movement, breath and spirit will melt to a unity so you will find your balance on and off the mat.

MITTWOCH // WEDNESDAY

The asana practice I teach is influenced by elements of Iyengar Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa. You will find yourself in dynamic and energetic classes as I believe the fire one creates within is the safest way to approach deeper dimensions of your practice. The incorporation of pranayama, meditation, mantras and mudras make the experience a whole.

One of my favorites! Anusara means "flowing with grace". This Anusara inspired flow emphasizes a set of Universal Principles of Alignment which underly all of the physical asanas and the philosophical aspects of the practice. This class is lighthearted and fun, yet challenging. With the intensity of vinyasa and accurate alignment work, this class will make you sweat while deepening the level of awareness on your practice. But no fears, whether you haven’t seen your toes in a while or are a super ninja-yogi(ni), I adjust my classes to varying levels of competency and give personalised feedback.

Starting with the alignment of breath and body, this class will take you trough a series of postures that follow a natural thread of movement and stillness. Giving options for different levels of practice, you will find yourself strenghtening and soothing the body mind, challenging and restoring.

In meinem Unterricht spiele ich mit dem Fluss der Körperenergien und mag es, wenn die TeilnehmerInnen mittels Anweisungen genau in ihre Mitte finden. In jeder Lektion achte ich darauf, der Atmung und dem Körper ganzheitlich zu begegnen. Sorgfältig, spielerisch und mit einem Schuss Humor.

Yoga Flow

In this class you will have an inner body experience as you shift and transform your energy. Linking breath with purposeful movement to create a meditative flow, allowing you to experience all elements of your body with ease and stability whilst building heat and inner strength. Each week a new theme is weaved into the class, drawing from philosophy and life.

Sound Healing Meditation

Sound is not just heard, it is felt. 

Experience a guided Sound Healing Meditation, feel the different frequencies and vibrations in your body, moving you into a deeply relaxed state.

As the Tibetan sing bowls are played the vibrations produced resonate throughout the entire body like a wave. Each singing bowl produces a healing frequency and harmonics which is related to the 7 chakras in the body; base, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye and crown chakra.

Sunday evening class with Guka serves a space for self-reflection, care and soothing the tension. Consciously connect your breath with vigorous movement and tune into deep stretch and relaxation. Evening practice is being dedicated to your-truly-self, this is your time to reconnect. We’ll create steady internal breathing rhythm, while flowing through sun salutations, standing poses, backbends and few yin poses, to ease & release.
